TENDER NOTICE

Sub: Repair/Refilling/Repainting and Maintenance of Fire Fighting Equipments.

Dear Sir,

India Trade Promotion Organization (A Government of India Enterprise) invites quotation in sealed cover, as per job sheet attached, for inspection, repairing, refilling, repainting and maintenance of Fire Fighting Equipments as per ISI norms.

2. You are requested to send a demand draft for Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) alongwith quotation as earnest money in favour of “ India Trade Promotion Organisation”, New Delhi or be deposited in cash with Cash Section of ITPO. The Cheque will not be accepted.

3. The quotation in sealed cover should be addressed to The Manager (Stores), India Trade Promotion Organisation, Room No.1, Prantik Building, near Gate No.1, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi-110001 so as to reach this office latest by 3.00 pm, on or before 09.09.2009, and will be opened at 3.30 pm, on the same day. The quotations received after the stipulated date and time and without earnest money, will not be considered.

4. The job has to be completed within 20 days from the date of issue of order. In case of failure to complete the work in time, the earnest money will be forfeited.

5. The work after completion will be subject to the inspection of the Senior Manager/ Manager, Security Division of India Trade Promotion Organisation.

6. The contractor must have pan number and registered with Delhi Works Contract Act-1999.

7. The quoted rates will be valid for a period of one year. The performance guarantee had to be furnished for each Fire Extinguisher refilled/repaired for a period of one year as per ISI norms. In case any Fire Extinguisher found not working during the guarantee- period, the same will have to be refilled/repaired free of cost immediately.

8. The earnest money of the successful bidder will be covered as a Security Money till theguarantee period.

9. ITPO, reserves the right to reject any quotation in full or part thereof without assigning any reason and no correspondence will be made in this regards.

10. The contractor must have their own workshop with facilities such as hydraulic testing, gas filling etc.
