Subject :- Allotment of Pragati Multi Kiosk for running of Stationery Photocopy,Internet and hardware Shop on Short Term (11 month) licence basis in Pragati Maidan--Sumission of bids latest by 9/11/2011 Upto 1530 Hours. Introduction India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) holds 123 acres of prime venue in the heart of Delhi, known as Pragati Maidan. It is the hub of exhibition activities round the year. Nearly 100 exhibitions/trade fairs and other events are organized at Pragati Maidan every year with wide national and international participations. The exhibition complex at Pragati Maidan comprises of 18 halls and 29 State and Central Govt. Pavilions with a total covered exhibition space of over 1,25,000 sq.mts. In addition, the premises consist of four open air theatres, one Cinema Hall and four Conference halls/Committee Rooms. A number of conventions, seminars, symposia and conferences are also organized at these places during the currency of different fairs/exhibitions. New big Convention Hall(s) are also being set up very shortly in the Pragati Maidan. Pragati Maidan attracts nearly 3 million visitors every year and their number is growing constantly. A significant number of these visitors are foreign and domestic business visitors/ delegates. It has been recognized that to meet the stationery and hardware items’ requirements of the visitors/participants/delegates, Pragati Maidan should be able to offer these items. ITPO, through this bid, intends to allot this Kiosk on licence basis for operating by a reputed /branded organisation to sell stationery & hardware items for a period of 11 Months (Eleven Months). 2.1 Area – Licensed Premises (i) The covered area of the Pragati Multi Kiosk (PMK) is. 26 sq. mtrs. (5.1X5.1) as per enclosed plan. A copy of a drawing indicating the layout of the PMK, which is proposed to be licensed, is enclosed. (ii) The proposed licence covers only the area as shown in the enclosed drawing with detailed specifications indicated thereon and no other area within Pragati Maidan. The Licensee shall use the said Licensed Premises only for the purpose of operating a stationery & hardware items’ shop subject to the terms and conditions and the guidelines and policies framed by Licensor from time to time, and for no other purpose (hereinafter referred to as “Permitted Purpose”). Apart from licensed premises, no other area adjacent to PMK and / or inside Pragati Maidan shall be used by the Licensee. No stationery & hardware items are to be served in any manner anywhere outside the designated area. 2.2 Type of items to be sold All types of stationery items and petty items of hardware related to fairs/ exhibitions/ conferences (large items such as furniture and equipments are not included). >>Layout Plan for Multi Koisk |
