Notice Inviting Tender
Sub: Installation of wireless LAN connection
General Manager, Computer Department, India Trade Promotion Organisation invites
technical and commercial bids from companies based in Delhi/NCR for supply and
installation material to establish wireless local area network connectivity from one wireless
access point to another. Whereas one access point is already installed on a tower on the roof
of ITPO’ s premises, the other access point is to be supplied, installed and tested for
connectivity at a distance of about 250 – 300 meters from the existing access point. For installation of new access point, a tower/pole may also have to be installed at the new location.
In order to assess the requirement of the type of access point required as also the
height of the pole, bidding companies are requested to carry out a site survey of the locations.

Bids are to be submitted in two parts separately viz. (1) Technical Bid and (2) Commercial Bid.

Tender document can be collected in person on payment of Rs. 200/- in cash or a demand/bank draft for the said amount favouring India Trade Promotion Organisation, payable at Delhi. Tender form can also be downloaded from our website: www.indiatradefair.com and the tender cost deposited alongwith the Technical Bid in the form of DD.

Technical bid should be submitted in the prescribed format in sealed envelope with “Technical Bid for Supply & Installation of Wireless LAN Material” clearly written on the envelope.

Bidders are requested to submit the following along with the Technical Bid:

copies of certificates of VAT/TIN and Service Tax registration,
-
earnest money deposit of Rs. 1,000/- in the form of bank/demand draft favouring India Trade Promotion Organisation, New Delhi

demand/bank draft towards the tender document cost of Rs. 200/- if not already deposited with ITPO or the copy of the receipt from ITPO if tender fee has already been deposited

Detailed configuration of item(s) offered in the commercial bid using separate paper sheet(s), if necessary.

Commercial bid contained in separate envelope and “Commercial Bid for Supply & Installation of Wireless LAN Material” written on the envelope should contain the unit price and the tax amount. The percentage of tax applicable on the items should also be mentioned.

Clarifications, if any, may be sought from the following on or before October 25th, 2010 between 10.30 am and 05.00 pm.

ITPO reserves the right to reject any bid without assigning any reason.
