India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) invites sealed technical and commercial bids separately from Delhi and NCR based companies for installation of “Touch Screen Kiosks” on hire basis at various points in Pragati Maidan during various exhibitions. The job requirements are briefly listed below:

1. Hardware - Minimum P-IV, 3.0 GHZ, 512 MB RAM & 17” colour monitor.

2. Multi-media software would include:

• Details of the participating companies

• Search options – companywise details, locations of various companies in various halls, productwise listing of companies with their respective locations.

• Layout plan of Pragati Maidan with locations of exhibition halls and other locations (facilities etc.)

• Layouts of various exhibition halls for the event

• Brief history of the event and its contact persons/executives

• Brief history of ITPO

• Layout plan of public conveyances for general public

3. Notes:

• Bidding companies are required to quote hiring charges per kiosk per day including manpower. Besides, the charges for the development of master software would be for the entire duration of the contract (likely to be one year). However, charges for amendment/modification including data uploading in the master software to suit the requirements of events concerned, if any, are to be quoted separately.

• The bidding company should have a minimum 1 year’s experience in such jobs with a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 5 lakhs with Central/State Govt. organizations/PSUs.

• Services of suitable number of technical persons for day-to-day maintenance of the equipments and the software besides one guide with each kiosk well versed with touch screen procedures and familiarization with the fair layout during the currency of events.

• Estimated quantity of the touch screen kiosks would be in the range of 3-15 numbers which would vary from event to event.

• Payment to be released in full after the completion of the job.

• The bidding company should have a minimum turnover of Rs. One crore during the last/current year.

• If the party fails to complete the job by the stipulated time in any given event, ITPO shall have right to impose penalty ranging from 5 to 10 percent of the value of the contract.

• The successful bidding company would be responsible for the security and insurance of its equipments/manpower.

• ITPO, at its sole discretion, shall be free to terminate the contract with the successful bidding company at any point of time in view of deficiency in services etc.

3. Information Inputs

• While part of the information inputs for the touch screen software for a given event will be provided about two weeks before the commencement of the event, the remaining inputs viz. list of participants, their products on display, location, hall lay-out plans, fair facts including details of supplementary activities would be provided to the selected agency about one week before the event.
