India Trade Promotion Organisation, a Government of India Enterprise has hosted 2 Portals namely www.tradeportalofindia.com and www.tradeportalofindia.org. Whereas the tradeportalofindia.com is hosted on ITPO’s servers in the premises of a service provider, tradeporrtalofindia.org is hosted on the servers of a service provider. Both the portals are updated on regular basis by uploading data/information from the remote location in ITPOs premises.

The General Manager (Computer Department) invites sealed quotations in 2-packet system i.e. technical and financial bids for the annual maintenance of above 2 portals.

SCOPE OF WORK:

1. The scope of work would include day-to-day maintenance of the portals by the successful vendor.

2. Maintenance and fine tuning of connectivity to both the portals with the servers at remote location in ITPO premises to facilitate regular uploading of data and updating of the portals remotely.

3. Services of a suitable Resident Data Entry Operator who could compile data/information from the given sources and upload the same on the two portals on regular basis.

4. Renewal of domain names of the two portals as and when due for which payments as per actual would be made by ITPO.

5. ITPO plans to withdraw its servers from the current location of tradeportalofindia.com and host this portal on the server of one of the service providers. For this purpose, the successful vendor would be required to facilitate the transfer of tradeportalofindia.com from the current location to another location.

6. The successful vendor would also be responsible for removal of snags/errors in both the portals and also development /modification work, not only in the home page but also in other sections of portals from time-to-time.

Interested companies having at least 3 years’ experience in the field of maintenance/hosting of websites/portals may participate in the bidding process as per the technical and commercial bid forms attached to this tender. The schedule and other details of the tendering process are as below:

1. Cost of tender document : Rs.500/-

2. Earnest money deposit : Rs.10,000/-

3. Last date for sale of tender document

and clarifications : 27.03.2009

4. Last date for submission of tender : 30.03.2009

Tender cost and earnest money deposit may be submitted in the form of bank draft favouring India Trade Promotion Organisation, New Delhi.

The tender document form may either be collected from the following or downloaded from our website : www.indiatradefair.com and the tender document fee deposited along with the technical bid.

Bidding companies are requested to submit the technical and commercial bid in separate envelopes, earmarked with “Technical bid for maintenance of trade portals” and “Commercial bid for maintenance of trade portals” respectively.

The bidding companies are requested to give an exhaustive list of its current major customers particularly Government/PSU Institutions.
