1. The firm/company should be in existence for over 5 years in the trade with the maintenance business having service business turn over of more than Rs.20 lakhs per annum during the last 2 years ending March 31, 2007.

2. The firm/company should have a previous maintenance contract for at least two years with a Government Department/Public Sector Undertaking in Delhi. The company should furnish statement of previous work for the last two years.

3. The firm/company must have expertise in on-site maintenance and repair of UPS.

4. The firm/company should be authorized service provider/a business partner of leading UPS manufacturers. Please attach a copy of valid service authorization certificate from the manufacturer.

5. The firm/company should produce copies of documents relating to allocation of service tax registration number VAT registration number and PAN number.

6. The firm/company should submit a draft of Rs.4,500/- towards earnest money deposit

Financial

1. The rate may be quoted on annual basis for UPS in a separate sealed cover.
2. The other terms & conditions for awarding the AMC shall be as follows:

· The AMC will be applicable for a period of 3 years from the date of signing of the contract.

· The comprehensive maintenance includes preventive maintenance, quarterly regular services of the UPS, etc. and/or replacement of any items necessary for keeping the 15 KVA UPS active and free from any defects or disturbance and also on any unscheduled call for corrective and maintenance services, taking appropriate measures/steps on time to set right the malfunctioning of the UPS. The replacement of all the spares including batteries, etc. is included under the maintenance contract. The replacement of defective spares with original spares or spares of equivalent specification will be done by the AMC company, without any extra charge of any kind.

· The AMC charges will be payable at the end of each year based on satisfactory services for the quarter.

· All taxes – VAT, octroi, service tax, etc. – if any, should be included in the prices quoted for the AMC.

· Quotes should cover quarterly preventive maintenance and when called for in the event of break-down.

· Please quote service tax registration no., VAT registration no. and PAN no. in your offer.

· The jurisdiction in case of disputes shall be the courts of Delhi/New Delhi.

· ITPO can accept or reject any offer at its discretion without assigning any reason, whatsoever.

The tender documents can be collected in person on payment of Rs.500/- (non refundable) in cash or by way of demand draft of the said amount favouring India Trade Promotion Organisation payable at New Delhi. Tender form can be downloaded from our website: www.indiatradefair.com and the tender cost deposited alongwith the bid by way of demand draft. The last date for sale of tender document is 11.4.2007.

Technical and commercial bids are required to be submitted separately in sealed covers marked "QUOTATIONS FOR AMC FOR 15 KVA UPS FOR BIC" written on the envelope and sent to Mrs. S. Swami, Sr. Manager, Computer Department, India Trade Promotion Orgnaisation, Ground Floor, Pragati Bhawan (Annexe II), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi-110 001, latest by 18.4.2007 upto 3.00PM.. The Technical bids will be opened on the same date at 3.30PM. The intimation for opening of Financial Bids of only successful Technical Bidder will be communicated separately.
