EXPRESSION OF INTEREST India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) is the premier trade promotion organization under the Department of Commerce, Government of India. The core competence of the company is to promote export trade through exhibitions, fairs and buyer sellers meet etc. Trade fairs are attracting and increasing number of visitors and are an ideal ground for match making. Internet technologies today allow the Trade Fairs to be held online as well therefore reach a wider section of buyers and interested parties. On line Trade Fair complement the Physical Trade Fair as it spreads awareness of show, enhances the networking opportunities for Exhibitors and Buyers/Delegates. In this context, ITPO invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from Consultancy Firms/Companies having more than 3 years of experience in the filed of Virtual Trade Fair. The companies should have worked in different sectors of industries in which ITPO organizes major fairs, such as, textiles, clothing, consumer goods, food & food products, healthcare, engineering goods etc. Objectives • To set up online Trade Fairs to complement the physical trade Fair and to have dedicated, prominent "virtual" space for industries in this portal at low costs. • To encourage the Indian industries to participate in the Online Trade Fair that would be held simultaneously along with the Physical Show. • To ensure that the Physical Trade Show publicizes the Online Trade Fair along with the Physical Show so that the Online show can ride the popularity of the Physical show and can also generate its own demand by using Web Publicity and Web PR. The bidding is open to all qualified Tenderers who fulfils the following requirements: » The Tenderer must be a reputed Indian Company/Firm engaged in providing Services in Areas of work relating to development of Software Solutions on Internet based Technologies for at least 3 years. » Experience of successfully implementing Multi-lingual, multi-published trade portal for industry. » The Tenderer shall be an Indian Company/Firm and the paid up capital of Company should be more than Rs. 20 lakhs. The interested companies should send in their profile along with list of their clients supported with relevant documents, listing out some of the projects on which they have worked satisfactorily, PAN and TIN No., and audited balance sheet for the last three years. The selection process will involve a two-stage evaluation of bids. First stage will be evaluation of Technical Bids. Second stage will be evaluation of Financial Bids. The short listed companies will be invited to make a presentation outlining their experience and the strategy / proposals that they would be adopting. Interested companies should apply giving their particulars, as detailed above, at the following address on or before 25.09.2008 (1700 hrs) in two separate bids - (i) Technical bid and (ii) Financial bid.
