Sub: HIRING OF CNG BUSES/ MINI BUSES.

India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), New Delhi invites quotations from transport agencies based in NCR region for hiring of commercial CNG buses/ Mini-Buses (non-AC) with drivers for use during India International Trade Fair’2011 in November 2011 at Pragati Maidan. The last date for receipt of quotations in the stipulated format is 15TH September,2011 at 3.00pm. The cost of the tender document is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) and may be either purchased or downloaded directly from the ITPO website. It can be purchased from the office of the under signed on payment of the required amount in cash or DD in favour of “ India Trade Promotion Organisation, New Delhi”. In case the same is down loaded from ITPO website, the amount of Rs.200/- may be enclosed as DD in favour of “India Trade Promotion Organisation, New Delhi along with the Technical Bid in addition to the EMD.

2. The bid will be submitted in two parts. First part of the bid called Technical Bid will be submitted in prescribed proforma ( Annex-I) to be put in a sealed cover superscribed as “Technical Bid” for hiring of CNG Buses. Second part of the bid called “ Financial Bid” will be submitted in prescribed proforma (Annex-II) to be sealed in a separate cover superscribed as “Financial Bid” for hiring of CNG Buses/ Mini-buses. Both the envelopes should be placed in another sealed envelop superscribed as “ Quotation for hiring of vehicles” addressed to Shri B. L. Meena, Manager (General Section) Room No. 40-A India Trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Maidan, Pragati Bhawan, New Delhi-110001. Interest Free EMD of Rs.30,000/- ( Rupees thirty thousand only) by Demand Draft drawn in favour of “ India Trade Promotion Organisation” New Delhi should be enclosed along with Technical bid failing which the quotation shall not be considered.

3. The bidding firm must have previous experience of supplying any of these categories of vehicles to one or more Government Departments/ Ministries/ Autonomous bodies/PSUs etc. The firm should have minimum 10 buses (CNG) with seating capacity 47 each and mini-buses seating capacity 15 each of its own and should have minimum five years experience of supplying vehicles to Government Department/ Public Sector Organisations etc. Bidding firm should furnish copies of such contracts along with satisfactory certificate from Department/Ministries/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs concerned etc.

4.The prospective bidders are requested to go through the enclosed terms and conditions of the contract carefully. The rate quoted should be inclusive of all charges but without taxes. Incomplete or conditional bids and bid without documentary proof will not be considered.

5.The Technical Bid will be opened 15th September, 2011 at 4.00pm. Bidders, who wish to be present at the opening may do so. The Financial Bid opening date will be communicated later.

6. The rate offered should be valid for 60 days from the date of opening of the tender.
