The Sr. Manager(Elect.), Engineering Division, Room No. 147, India Trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on behalf of Chairman & Managing Director, ITPO invites sealed item rate tender for following work from specialized firms dealing in providing X-BIS Scanner System in Govt./PSU/Police/Security Deptt./ Airport etc. for which shall be received in the shape of Technical and Financial bids up to 03.00PM on 10.10.2008 and the Technical Bid only will be opened at 03.30PM on the same day.


The Technical bid and Financial Bid must be submitted in separate sealed envelope superscribing clearly on the face of the envelopes. The financial bids will be opened only of those agencies whose Technical bid is found to be successful. The entire process will be evaluated by a designated committee appointed by the deptt. The opening of Financial bids of only successful Technical bidders will be communicated separately.

Name of Work: Providing installation, fixing and commissioning of X-BIS Scanner System on hire basis during IITF’2008 (w.e.f. November 13-27,2008) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

The tender documents can be had on all working days between 11.00AM to 4.00PM up to 06.10.2008 from the office on written request supported by documentary proof of specified experience, average financial turnover during last three years ending 31st March,2008 should be at least 30% of the similar work. (a) Three similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost, or (b) Two similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost, or (c) One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost, Cost of tender mentioned above (non-refundable) in cash and valid PAN copy, Service tax registration copy, and copy of TIN/WCT as applicable. The earnest money should be deposited along with the application form through cash/Bank Draft drawn in favour of India Trade Promotion Organization, New Delhi. The tender of the contractor who do not deposit the Earnest Money in the prescribed manner shall be summarily rejected. Other terms and conditions are as per the tender.
