SHORT TENDER NOTICE


India Trade Promotion Organisation (a Govt. of India Enterprise under Ministry of Commerce) will be organizing an exclusive "India Fair", Melbourne(Australia) during March 29-April 01, 2007 at Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC), Melbourne, Australia. Space has already been booked at MECC(2 Bays - 3000 sq.mtrs. area). The objective of the event is to provide a platform to the Indian organisations/companies to explore business opportunities with their Australian counterparts for trade, joint venture/collaborations, investments for wide range of products and services, with a view to give boost to the economic ties between the two countries. The product profile for this event includes wide range of products (both engineering and non-engineering) and services sectors.

It is expected that the Fair will cover product display/exhibition area equivalent to about 125 booths of 9 sq. mtrs. each.

For organizing the above exclusive India Fair, quotations are invited from the companies having experience in organizing similar events by setting up of booths and other relevant facilities for such events, and also for promoting the event among the target segment in the Australian market. Each booth of 9 sq. mtrs. will be provided with:-

  1. Octanorm system with partition walls
  2. Carpet
  3. Facia with company name written on it
  4. Three spot lights
  5. One power socket
  6. One counter table
  7. One discussion table
  8. Three chairs
  9. Two shelves/hanger rail with 50 hangers
  10. Small Plant
  11. One waste basket


Besides the Exhibition area, other areas in the Hall (e.g. aisles) will also be carpeted

Further, Information/Reception/Registration booth will also be set up at the entrance of the Exhibition. Common facilities like office space etc. with the office equipment (fax/computer/printer/photocopy machine), tea/catering area etc. will also be set up. All the booths in the Hall will be cleaned every day.

In addition to the display/exhibition, other activities like business seminar, food festival, cultural activities are also planned during the fair period. Necessary facilities for the same will also have to be provided.

  1. The rates include assembling, dismantling, transportation, maintenance, daily cleaning of the exhibition area which will be the responsibility of the contractor.
  2. Chair/Table provided in the stand area should be of same type & colour.
  3. Material used should be of international standard.
  4. Kindly indicate the details of prefab system used.
  5. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to provide side podium, carpet and fascia as per design drawing & colour scheme.
  6. Vat, if any applicable should be indicated separately
  7. Rates should be quoted in Australian Dollars only.
  8. Rates for services not included in the format may also be indicated.
  9. The agency should give minimum five photographs of India stand alongwith invoice.
