Sub: PROCUREMENT OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

Sealed tenders (Technical and Financial) are invited from the manufacturers of the fire extinguishers having ISI, CE and ISO certification for supply of the following Fire extinguishers:

5	ABC stored pressure fire extinguisher 5 kg.	61 nos.
6.	Mechanical Foam (AFFF) trolley mounted fire extinguisher capacity 50 ltrs.	10 nos.

Technical bid should contain information as per Annexure-I and be put in an envelope. Financial bid should contain information as per Annexure-II and be put in another envelope. Both the envelopes may be put together in one sealed cover, super scribing “TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS”

Tenderers are requested to kindly collect the tender document from the undersigned and send the sealed tender on any working day during office hours on or before 20-7-2010 by 3.00 pm.. The tenders received after due date and time will not be entertained. The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 4.00 pm in the Committee Room,, India Trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Bhawan, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in the presence of the willing tenderers. Financial bids of only those companies, who meet the technical specifications, will be opened.

The tender may be addressed to the Manager (Stores), Stores Division, Prantik Building, Near Gate No. 1, India Trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi-110001 in sealed cover and put in the ‘Tender Box’. The tenderers who qualify in the technical bid will be required to give demonstration of their equipment in a very short period. The tender documents can be collected in person on payment of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) (Non-refundable & non transferable) by Demand Draft in favour of “India Trade Promotion Organisation” or in cash to be deposited in Cash Section of ITPO on any working day from 11.00 am. to 5.00 pm. The tender document with terms & conditions, technical specifications of the Fire Extinguishers can also be downloaded from ITPO’s Website- www.indiatradefair.com. However, the tender’s cost of Rs. 1000/- in the form of demand draft in favour of “India Trade Promotion Organisation” along with the technical bid should be enclosed. The earnest money of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) in favour of “India Trade Promotion Organisation” should be enclosed with tender. In case, the due date is declared a holiday, tender shall be opened on the next working day or any date fixed by ITPO. The party should have their workshop/maintenance Department in Delhi for quick service, supervision and inspection. The equipments would be checked by the ITPO’s Security Division.

The above fire extinguishers are required to be delivered to ITPO within a period of 20 days from the date of placing the order.
