Sealed quotations are invited for the “Upholstery and Repair of Wooden Furniture items” as per list attached.

2. The quotations should be sent in a sealed cover subscribed as “Quotation for upholstery and repair of wooden furniture items” addressed to Manager (Stores) India Trade Promotion Organisation, Prantik Building, Room No.1, Near Gate No. 1, Pragati-Maidan New Delhi-110001, so as to reach this office latest by 14-10-2009, at 3:00 pm, and will be opened on the same day at 3.30 pm in the presence of intending quotationers/their authorized representatives.. The quotations received after the stipulated date and time will not be considered.

3. You are requested to send a demand draft for Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) alongwith quotation as earnest money in favour of “ India Trade Promotion Organisation”, New Delhi or be deposited in cash with Cash Section of ITPO. The Cheque will not be accepted. The quotations received without EMD, will not be considered.

4. The validity of the contract will be for a period of two year subject to renew on the basis of the satisfactory performance.

5. The department reserves the right to reject any quotation in full or part thereof with-out assigning any reason and no correspondence will be entertained in this regards.

6. If the items required for repairing at your godown they will be taken and returned at your own cost, no extra cartage/charges will be paid by ITPO.

7. The work will be done as per our requirement on date and time and specifications.

8. If the work found unsatisfactory no payment shall be made unless until it is redone.

9. Please provide copy of the last contract carried out by your company.

10. The contractor must be registered with Delhi Sale Tax/ Works Contract Act-1999/VAT, and attach a photo copy of the registration with PAN No. along-with the quotation.
