Subject:-   Disposal of goods in lot by inviting sealed bids– Kitchen items,   utensils ACs, Furniture, Electrical items, Water Pump etc on ‘AS IS WHERE IS BASIS’.

Sealed Bids are invited on behalf of CMD, India Trade Promotion Organisation from the interested parties for disposal of goods of the following description on ‘AS IS WHERE IS BASIS’ lying at our Warehouse Stores at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.  The last date of receiving the bids is 26th February, 2008 at 2.30 pm.  The bids must be deposited in Tender Box kept in the room of Manager (Stores), Room No.1, Prantik Building, Gate no.1, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.  The bids will be opened on the same day at 3.30 pm in the presence of interested parties.  The tender Forms will be sold upto 5.00 pm on 25th February, 2008.  The bidders may inspect the items at Warehouse Stores, Near Gate No.1, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on any working day between 11.00 am to 5.00 pm till 25th February,2008.

            Bids have to be submitted on prescribed tender forms.  The terms and conditions may be obtained from the office of the Manager(Stores), Room No.1, Prantik Building, Near Gate No.1, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on cash payment of Rs.200/- (non-refundable).

            Bidder may also download the Tender Forms from ITPO’s website www.indiatradefair.com and cost of the tender forms should be paid at the time of submission of bids in the form of DD for Rs.200/- (non-refundable) in favour of India Trade Promotion Organisation payable at Delhi or cash in ITPO’s cash counter.

The sealed bid for the above is schedule to be opened at ITPO Office, Room No.1, Prantik Building, Near Gate no.1, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 26th Feb., 2008 at 3.30 pm.  The bidder has to agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. The goods will be disposed off in LOT ONLY.
2. The sealed cover should clearly indicate the name of work as given above.
3. The EMD should be deposited in the form of Bank Draft in favour of “India Trade Promotion Organisation” or be deposited in cash with Cash Section.
4. The EMD of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) and the price bid should be deposited in two separately sealed envelopes, one containing Bank DD towards Earnest Money Deposit and other containing price bid.  The envelope should be clearly marked as EMD and price bid.  The price bid will be exclusive of Sales Tax, Income Tax, CST or any other levy prevailing (or) to be imposed by the State/Central Govt. (or) any local authority.
5. Envelope containing EMD will be opened first.  Agencies who do not submit EMD in appropriate form their price bids will not be opened.
6. Sealed bids shall be deposited addressed to Manager (Stores), ITPO, Prantik Building, Near Gate No.1, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.  No bid will be accepted after the due date and time.
7. The bidders shall have to deposit 25% of the bid amount alongwith the bid in a separate envelope failing which the bid will be summarily rejected.  Thereafter, on acceptance of bid shall deposit the balance amount within three days after accepting the bid failing which the Earnest Money alongwith 25% of above deposited amount shall be forfeited.
8. The entire lot has to be lifted within five working days from the date of issuance of approval letter failing which penalty @ 1% of the bid amount per day shall be imposed on account of delay in clearance of site.
9. ITPO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or all the bids without assigning any reason to the bidder(s).
10. Highest bid will be accepted subject to the approval of ITPO and Stores Division shall issue Gate Passes for taking out the material.
11. The interested bidder may inspect the items at Warehouse, Pragati Maidan and Near Gate No.1 on any working day till 25th February, 2008 between 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.  However, no claim whatsoever shall be entertained after opening of the bids.  The conditional bids will be summarily rejected.
12. In case failing to lift the auctioned goods within prescribed period, the EMD, alongwith 25% bid amount too, will be forfeited and action as black list etc. will also be taken and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
