Subject: Empanelment of private agencies to provide the Services of Sniffer Dogs with Handlers upto 31st March, 2010.

The INDIA TRADE PROMOTION ORGANISATION, a Central Government Public Sector Enterprise invites the sealed tenders from the Delhi/NCR based private agencies to provide the services of Sniffer Dogs with Handlers at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi upto 31st March, 2010.

The agencies should quote their rates per sniffer dog with handler for 8 hrs. duty. The sealed tenders should reach to the Manager (Security), India Trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Bhawan, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi-110001 latest by 31.10.2008 by 1.30 p.m. and the sealed tenders will be opened at 3.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the available representatives of the agencies. The ITPO reserves the right to reject any/all offers without assigning any reason.

Terms & Conditions

1. The service of sniffer dog with handler is to be provided at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

2. The sniffer dog with handler can be stationed by ITPO at the designated main entry gates of Pragati Maidan, however, the location is to subject to change.

3. The Sniffer Dog will check and frisk the incoming cargo at the gates, exhibition halls and the inauguration site at Pragati Maidan for anti sabotage checks.

4. The Handler of the Dog is to immediately report to Security Control, ITPO in case the dog suspects any explosive in the premises of Pragati Maidan.

5. The agency will be held responsible in case any individual is injured by the sniffer dog while in the premises of Pragati Maidan.

6. The normal requirement of ITPO for sniffer dogs will be between 2-10. However, the requirement may vary from time to time.

7. The agency will have to supply number of sniffer dogs as and when required and ITPO will not be responsible for their transport, food, maintenance etc. However, in case the dog & handler are required to be stationed for longer duration or during night the temporary arrangement for their stay shall be made by ITPO at the agencies responsibility.

8. Anti-sabotage (AS) check certification is to be given by the agency after carrying out the AS check of the venue. Pl. quote your rate here per sniffer dog with handler for 8 hrs. duty.
