The Manager, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi invites pre-qualification applications, on behalf of the CMD, ITPO, from specialized/reputed agencies for the following work:

Agency or individual company, who fulfill the following requirements, shall be eligible to apply.

1. The Agency shall have to fulfill the minimum criteria of satisfactory execution of work as given below:

1.1 Three similar works, each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender, or

1.2 Two similar works, each of value not less than 60% of the estimated cost, or

1.3 One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost, all amount rounded off to a convenient full figure, in the last 7 years ending on the last day of the month previous to the one in which the tenders are invited.

Similar work means, the resembling work given in the schedule of quantities with automated housekeeping only in large complexes comparable with Pragati Maidan.

2. Interested agencies are requested to submit their technical and financial bids in separate envelop for pre-qualification containing the information of the works undertaken by them supported with relevant documents, i.e. PAN No., No., Employee Provident Fund Number (EPF) and Employee State Insurance(ESI) Number, Service Tax Registration Number and other applicable taxes (if not exempted), copy of annual audited accounts for the last three years, satisfactory completion certificate of the job along with their respective award letters from the concerned officer, etc duly self attested. The value of the works will be calculated on the basis of quantum of the work executed in one financial year.

3. The bidders will have to make presentation of their technical bids. The technical bids will be evaluated based on qualification criteria and the presentation made. Weightage to selected technical bids & financial bids will be decided by the Committee.

4. The agency shall have to deposit the earnest money amounting to Rs.1,52,410/- alongwith financial bids, in the form of Bank Draft/Pay Order favouring ‘India Trade Promotion Organisation, payable at New Delhi and submit the same along with their financial bid. Those agencies who have not deposited the required earnest money as mentioned above, their financial bid shall be summarily rejected.

5. The technical bid, financial bid and earnest money must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes, superscripting clearly on the face of envelope. The tender form for financial bid can be had on payment of Rs.1,000/- from the office of Manager(Civil), ITPO, Room No.141, Pragati Bhawan, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi – 110 001 on all working days upto 26.9.2008 between 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

6. The date of submission of bids (technical and financial) is upto 3.00 p.m. on 30.9.2008 and only technical bid will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on same day.

7. The information for opening of financial bids of only successful technical bidders will be communicated separately.

8. If any information furnished by the applicant is found incorrect at a later stage, he shall be liable to be debarred from the tendering /taking up of work in ITPO. The department reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently.

9. The department reserves the right to reject any prospective application without assigning any reason.
