India Trade Promotion Organisation (A Government of India Enterprise) invites sealed bids from the interested parties for the sale of following items on ‘AS IS WHERE IS BASIS’ at Hall No.1 Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The last date of receiving the bids is 01.09.2011, at 3.00 pm. The bids must be deposited in Tender Box kept in the Room of Manager (Electrical), Room No.147, Pragati Bhawan, Gate No. 3, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The bids will be opened on the same day at 4.000 pm in the presence of interested present. The tender Forms will be sold upto 1:00 pm by 26.08.2011. The bidders may inspect the items on any day between 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and on 01.09.2011 upto 12.00 noon.

Bids have to be submitted on prescribed tender document. The tender document can be collected in person on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) (Non-refundable & non transferable) by Demand Draft in favour of “India Trade Promotion Organisation” or in cash to be deposited in Cash Section of ITPO on any working day from 11.00 am. to 5.00 pm. from the office of the Manager(Electrical), India Trade Promotion Organistion, Room No.147, Pragati Bhawan, Near Gate No.3, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi-110001. The earnest money of Rs. 9,784/- (Rupees nine thousand seven hundred eighty four only) should be deposited in the form of demand Draft in favour of “India Trade Promotion Organisation” or be deposited in cash with Cash Section, ITPO.

Bidder may also download the Tender document from ITPO’s website www.indiatradefair.com . However, the cost of the tender document should be paid at the time of submission of bids in the form of Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (non refundable and non transferable) in favour of India Trade Promotion Organisation payable at Delhi.

Terms and conditions :-

The sealed bids for the above is scheduled to be opened in, Room No.147, India Trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Bhawan, Gate No.3, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 01.09.2011 at 4.00 pm. The terms and conditions are laid down as under:-

1. The goods will be disposed off in complete LOT ONLY.

2. The sealed cover should clearly indicate the name of work as given above.

3. The earnest money of Rs. 9,784/- (Rupees nine thousand seven hundred eighty four only) should be deposited in the form of demand Draft in favour of “India Trade Promotion Organisation” or be deposited in cash with Cash Section, ITPO.

4. The EMD and the financial bid should be deposited in two separately sealed

envelopes, one containing Bank Demand Draft towards Earnest Money and other

containing financial bid. The envelope should be clearly marked as EMD and

financial bid. The financial bid will be exclusive of Sales Tax, Income Tax, CST or any other levy prevailing (or) to be imposed by the State/Central Govt. (or) any local authority.

5. Envelope containing EMD will be opened first. Agencies who do not submit EMD in

appropriate form their financial bids will not be opened.

6. Sealed bids should be addressed to Manager (Elect.), ITPO, Pragati Bhawan, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi-110001. No bid will be accepted after the due date and time.

7. The bidders shall have to deposit 25% of the bid amount alongwith the bid in a separate envelope failing which the bid will be summarily rejected. Thereafter, on acceptance of bid shall deposit the balance amount within two days after accepting the bid failing which the Earnest Money alongwith 25% of above deposited amount shall be forfeited.

8. The entire lot has to be removed within three days from the date of issuance of approval letter failing which penalty @ 5% of the bid amount per day shall be imposed on account of delay in clearance of site.

9. ITPO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or all the bids without assigning

any reason to the bidder(s).

10. Highest bid will be accepted subject to the approval of ITPO and Engg. Division

shall issue Gate Passes for taking out the material.

11. The interested bidder may inspect the items at Hall No. 1, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, on any day between 11.00 am to 5.00 pm and on 01.09.2011 upto 12.00 noon. However, no claim whatsoever shall be entertained after opening of the bids. The conditional bids will be summarily rejected.

12. In case failing to remove the auctioned goods within prescribed period, the EMD, alongwith 25% bid amount too, will be forfeited and action as black listing etc. will also be taken and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
