Applications are invited for filling up of the following posts under IDA pay-scales :-
1. Sr. Assistant (Civil) : 2 posts
(Pay-scale Rs.6200-170-10110)
Qualification:
Essential: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
Desirable: Knowledge of foreign languages other than English.
Experience: Essential for Diploma holders only – 1 year experience of construction and maintenance of permanent structures in Civil Engineering in Government/Public Sector/reputed Private Sector Organisations, preferably in the field of exhibitions.
2. Sr. Assistant (Electrical) : 2 posts
(Pay-scale Rs.6200-170-10110)
Qualification:
Essential: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
Desirable: Knowledge of foreign languages other than English.
Experience: Essential for Diploma holders only – 1 year experience of construction and maintenance of permanent structures in Electrical Engineering in Government/Public Sector/reputed Private Sector Organisations, preferably in the field of exhibitions.
3. Junior Stenographer (English): 2 posts
(Pay-scale Rs. 5700-150-9150)
Qualifications:
Essential:
1. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University;
2. Shorthand/Typing speed of 80/40 w.p.m.
Experience:
Desirable: Experience as Steno-typist in reputed organisations.
4. Assistant (Accounts) : 7 posts
(Pay-scale Rs. 5700-150-9150)
Qualifications:
Essential:
B.Com with 55% Marks from a recognized University.
Desirable:
Working knowledge of computer application.
Experience:
2 years experience in Finance/Accounts in Govt./PSUs/Reputed Private Sector Organisations.
Note: Preference will be given for experience in Govt./PSUs.

#Category of disability : Orthopaedically Handicapped (Partial disability of lower extremities with minimum disability of 40%.
- Relaxation in upper age limit for SCs, STs, OBCs and Physically Handicapped persons will be as per Govt. rules.
- Age and experience will be reckoned as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
General Instructions:
1. Applications on plain paper, subscribing the name of the post applied post for on the envelope, should be sent to The Manager (Admn), India Trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Bhawan, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi – 110 001 containing following details:- (i) Name; (2) Father’s/Husband’s Name; (3) Date of Birth/ Age as on the closing date of receipt of applications; (4) Permanent Address/Correspondence Address; (5) Nationality; (6) Category - whether SC/ST/OBC/ Physically Handicapped; (7) Educational Qualifications; (8) Experience specifying the name of the Organisation, post held from time to time indicating the pay scale and duration of the post; (9) Present post held, pay scale and the present basic pay; (10) Telephone no., if any (11) Mobile telephone, if any, (12) E-mail address, if any, and (13) Any other relevant information. Those working in Central/State government offices/PSUs must apply through proper channel. Applications received directly will not be entertained.
2. Applications completed in all respects must reach this office within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement alongwith self- attested recent photograph, photocopies of certificates/testimonials duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, failing which the application will be rejected.
3. The candidates have to appear for a written test and interview, etc., at their own expense. However, SC/ST candidates residing outside Delhi, called for interview will be reimbursed 2nd class to and fro rail or bus fare by the shortest route, subject to production of ticket(s) provided they are not already working in PSUs or Central/State Government Offices.
4. ITPO will not be responsible for non-receipt of any communication sent to the candidates due to postal/non-delivery or delay or loss in transit. ITPO reserves the right to short list and/or to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason.
5. Mere fulfilling the criteria will not vest any right in the candidate for being called for the written test/interview.
6. In case, it is found at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and / or that he/ she has furnished any incorrect/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any material information, his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings are detected even after appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated.
