Dear Sir,

We are pleased to inform you that India Trade Promotion Organization(ITPO) is organising national participation in the forthcoming MUBA 2007, Basel(Switzerland) March 2-11, 2007.

Muba (Annual Spring Fair) is the largest and most successful consumer goods fair in Switzerland which offers you the opportunity to show and conduct sales of your products, alongside approximately 2500 exhibitors from all over the world. . MUBA is organized over an area of 52,000 sq.mtrs. (approx.). Nearly 3.5 lakhs visitors were reported at the fair last year.

Switzerland's open economy has posted the highest standard of living in the world. Lacking raw materials, the country has based its prosperity on labour skills and technological expertise in manufacturing as well as earnings from services such as tourism and banking. The diversified economy has notable strengths in chemicals and pharmaceuticals, machinery, watches and precision instruments and financial services and Swiss firms have been able to capture markets for a wide range of sectors.

The product profile suggested for display is enclosed at Annexure-I

India's total export to Switzerland during April - December 2005-2006 is US$ 73,110.95 - million.

This fair is open both for order booking as well as for retail sales. Your participation in MUBA 2007 will not only be very useful to promote your exports but will also be important for establishing long terms contacts with buyers/importers.

The participation fee has been fixed @ Rs. 18,000/- per sq. mtr.(without shipment facility). Against the participation fee the package of services offered for a standard booth of 9 sq.mtrs. are constructed booth, 2/3 side partition , fascia and floor covering, one table with two chairs, one waste paper basket, any three standard display aids (podium/shelf/peg boards/textile rail/showcases and 4/5 spotlights for 9 sq.mtrs. The number of display aids will be proportionate to area booked.

Any additional facility including furniture, display aids and interpreter etc. required by the participants will have to be intimated to ITPO WELL IN TIME. Such additional facility would be provided depending upon the availability and will be charged directly by the respective contractor appointed by ITPO or the Fair Organizer in foreign exchange at the place of exhibition.

The participants would have to make their own arrangements for despatch and return of their exhibits including handling /clearing and insurance at their own cost.

As the space is limited, the allocation will be done on first come first served basis. The minimum bookable space is 9 sq.mtrs. and larger space could be booked in multiples of 3 sq.mtrs.

The Fair is governed by general terms and conditions for participation in International Trade Fairs and Exhibitions organized by India Trade Promotion Organization. A copy of brief Rules and Regulations for participation in Fairs abroad is enclosed.

Please confirm your space requirement immediately in the enclosed application form duly filled in along with an advance payment of Rs, 50,000/-(Rupees Fifty Thousand only) by demand draft drawn in favour of India Trade Promotion Organization, New Delhi which will be adjusted against the participation fee

PARTICIPATION CHARGES:

The participation charges is @ Rs.18,000/- per sq. mtr. for a furnished booth of 9 sq.mtrs. . The minimum bookable space is 9 sq.mtrs.and larger space could be booked in multiples of 3 sq.mtrs. This fair is open both for order booking as well as for retail sales. Participation would be on 'First-Come-First-served basis'. In view of the limited space, you are requested to confirm your space requirement along with demand draft for Rs.50,000/- as advance payment favouring India Trade Promotion Organisation, New Delhi.
