      We are pleased to inform you that India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) is organising India's national participation in the forthcoming Foire de Paris (Riches of the World, Paris (France), April 27 to May 08, 2007.

       The Three distinct central themes of the fair are (i) The House from A to Z (ii) Leisure (Games, Musical Instruments) (iii) The cultures of the world (Craftsmanship, Gastronomy, Tourism). About four lakh visitors were recorded at the last fair held in 2006. The fair was in an area of 18,000 sq.mtrs where more than 400 exhibitors from 70 countries participated in the fair.

      ITPO's last participation in this event attracted a large number of trade visitors and retail buyers. Indian companies at India Pavilion reported good business, in addition to spot sales.

      The display profile of the fair includes ( Fashion Accessories, Practical living, DIY and small appliances, Generations multimedia @ , Image and sound, Sports, Camping-caravaning, Furniture and decoration, Kitchen, Bathroom and electric household appliances, Heating, Air-conditioning and Water treatment, Garden and swimming pool, Renovation Solutions, Property etc.

       India's exports to France has shown a significant increase of 23.41% from US$ 83,535.94 million to USD 1,03,090.54 in 2005-06 indicating a promising out look for our products in the French market.

        THIS FAIR IS FOR ORDER BOOKING AS WELL AS FOR RETAIL SALES

       The participation fee is expected to be around Rs.26,600/- plus 12.24% Service Tax per sq. mtr. + 10% extra for two side open/corner stand or Euro 455/- per sq. mtr.(without service tax) + 10% extra for a two side open/corner stand. Against the participation fee, the package of services offered includes built up stand, having wall to wall carpet, lighting, fascia, standard display aids, furniture and general publicity support. As the space is limited, allocation will be done on first come first served basis. The exact charges will be intimated to you shortly. The minimum bookable space is 9 sq.mtrs and additional space may be booked in multiples of 3 sq.mtrs. The participants would have to make their own arrangements for despatch and return of their exhibits including handling, clearing and insurance at their own cost.

       The fair is governed by general terms and conditions for participation abroad in International Trade Fairs and Exhibitions organized by India Trade Promotion Organization. A copy of brief Rules and Regulations for participation in Fairs abroad is enclosed.

        Please confirm your space requirement immediately in the enclosed application form duly filled in along with an advance payment of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) or Euro 1000/- (Euro One thousand only) by demand draft drawn in favour of India Trade Promotion Organization, New Delhi which will be adjusted against the participation fee.
