Ø Expo Riva Schuh India – Concurrent Exhibition
The 2nd edition of Delhi India International Leather Fair (July 5-7, 2012) will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Textiles, Shri Anand Sharma at Hall No.:12 and 12A (Foyer), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on July 05, 2012.
With over 2400 square meters of display, this year, the fair will feature 100 companies including 40 from China, Italy and Singapore. The fair will have another concurrent fair – Expo Riva Schuh India organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, Italy. The Expo Riva Schuh fair in Italy is one of the two leading international shoe fairs in the world. Being organized for the second time after successful first edition held concurrently with IILF 2011, this concurrent exhibition of IILF 2012 will feature 200 exhibitors from several countries including Italy, France, Spain, U.K., Austria, China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Thailand apart from domestic exhibitors. India, China and Italy will form the major part of display at Expo Riva Schuh India 2012.
This year, the theme of the fair is ‘A New Colour World – Trends & Technology’ will be set-up by CLRI and ITPO in Hall No.:11. The theme pavilion will highlight India’s expertise in designing and development of high quality leatherwear. It will also present latest trends and innovations in footwear and leather goods.
The display profile at IILF 2012 covers a comprehensive range of products and services relating to leather industry viz. footwear and footwear components, leather garments, fashion accessories, leather goods like travel ware, purses, wallets, belts, gloves portfolios, handbags, finished leather, machinery and equipment for tanning, shoe making, dryers, stitching, sewing machines, finishing machines, chemicals for leather industry, publications and consultancy services.
IILF Delhi is being organized by India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) in collaboration with Council for Leather Exports (CLE) and supported by Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Indian Footwear Component Manufacturers’ Association (IFCOMA), Indian Shoe Federation (ISF) and Indian Finished Leather Manufacturer Exporters Association (IFLMEA) and Riva del Garda Fierecongressi.
